Theresa, I am a 23-year old Sicilian American from NJ who has also studied journalism & history. I just recently returned from teaching in a small town called Pietraperzia in Sicily. I will be returning in a month. My aunt bought me your book, and wrote on the inside jacket, "I think you will find a soul mate in Theresa Maggio." She wasn't exaggerating. Those six months in Sicily were spiritually nourishing for me. Your book inspires me to write about my journey. Since I returned, everyone has been asking to meet with me. I have given a couple of speeches at St. John's University in New York and wrote a short article for my alma mater Caldwell College. I went there not knowing anyone, but by June, the whole town knew me! It would be a privilege and an honor to talk to you or meet with you before I return in September.
